A Dream, 25 Years in the Making...

What I remember the most is the freedom I had as a child. We connected with nature, growing our food, milking our cows, and canning. Each of us kids had our own set of chores; with 13 kids, we could get a lot done.

I am grateful I had such a childhood, and being raised this way inspired me to bring these experiences to others who have never been around animals or to know the taste of a homegrown tomato. To see the beauty and healing power of nature.

In the modern technological age, our youth barely know what natural fruits, veggies, and meals look like. We have lost the simple touch of a roast dinner or farm-fresh eggs with added ingredients and GMOs. Being in nature, lifting our heads from the blue light of our phones, to be in sunlight refreshes our mind, body, and spirit.

I am committed to providing this program to solve many of today's social problems.

In the early 2000s, I was hiking on my old farm when I suddenly felt a calling. I felt the presence of the Divine that I was meant to do more than I initially believed. At first, maybe it didn't seem real, but I knew what I felt, and once I accepted it, everything fell into place. I was meant to create the "Horse Feathers Therapeutic Learning Center," a divinely guided mission, with the help of good friends and family, including my sister Cindy. Over the last 25 years, I've organized, worked, and reworked to make my vision a reality, and I am so happy & blessed that I get to share my dream with you all.
